PRODUCTION MANAGER (Technical)
Description
The British Country Music Festival is a celebration of the contemporary British country music scene and all its lovely, sub genres. Curated and organised by Fit The Bill’s Martin and Marina Blore, it takes place annually in September at the indoor Winter Gardens entertainment complex in Blackpool, Lancashire. The venue hosts five stages including the breath-taking Empress Ballroom. Focusing on contemporary artists, coupled with a very knowledgeable audience, makes this a warm, friendly festival with high artistic standards. We have bold and exciting ambitions for the future of our event and we are looking for an exceptional Production Manager to work with the Directors, to help bring these ideas to fruition.
Purpose of Role:
- To lead in all aspects of the management regarding technical production needs
- To assess production needs
- To manage production scheduling
- To manage production budget
- To oversee all production management during the festival
Project Duration:
Six days pre-festival (by arrangement)
One build day 3rd September 2020
Three show days 4th, 5th and 6th September 2020
Person Specification:
Offered on a project basis, this opportunity would suit a pro-active, highly organised and personable production manager with experience across a variety of areas. The estimated project commitment is 10 days.
