Her live shows are whirlwind of colour and sequins, with a whole load of grit and dirt thrown in for good measure.
Lucy Blu Biography
Singer-songwriter Lucy Blu delivers feisty, relatable songs with her unmistakably rootsy and soulful vocals. Drawing influences from Country Rock, Americana, Soul and Pop, the resulting fusion is one that appeals to both traditional and commercial music fans alike. Lucy manages to channel a young Linda Ronstadt, with the attitude of Sheryl Crow, and the lyrical mastery of Kacey Musgraves, all while creating a sound and style recognisably original and her very own.
She has previously appeared at the likes of; The Long Road Festival, Tennessee Fields, and Buckle & Boots, supported major US artists including Royal South & Candi Carpenter, and sold out her own London headline shows at The Sound Lounge and Water Rats.
Whether you’re looking to break your heart over a lost love, or break someone else’s face who did you wrong, Lucy has a song for it. Without a doubt one of the most exciting and vibrant upcoming artists on the UK grassroots scene, her live shows are whirlwind of colour and sequins, with a whole load of grit and dirt thrown in for good measure.
We are looking forward to seeing Lucy at The British Country Music Festival 2022.
